The Friends of the Child Advocacy Center of Frederick County, a volunteer-led nonprofit founded in 2006 with a solemn pledge to end child abuse in our community. At the heart of their mission lies the support for the Child Advocacy Center (CAC), which serves over 400 vulnerable children yearly who have suffered abuse or neglect. Their vision is clear: a future where no child in Frederick County experiences the pain of abuse. With unwavering commitment, they strive to ensure these children receive the care and healing they deserve.

Michael A McCullough is an artist from Gettysburg,PA who has worked in various mediums throughouthis career, including furniture making, photography,printmaking, and painting. Sharon Pierce McCullough is a visual artist fromCashtown PA who works as a painter and sculptor.She is an ecologically conscious artist whoexperiments with recycled and natural materials.Works vary to include geometric, minimal andfigurative abstracts. Sculptures range fromrepresentational to conceptual. Her works comefrom an experimental spirit that explores thepossibilities of colors, shapes & textures.McCullough’s paintings are created using acrylics,enamels & house paints, while her sculptures usevarious materials such as plaster, found objects,cement & textiles. McCullough has receivednumerous awards & her artwork has been exhibitedin numerous museums and galleries and is held innational and international collections.
