The Friends of the Child Advocacy Center of Frederick County, a volunteer-led nonprofit founded in 2006 with a solemn pledge to end child abuse in our community. At the heart of their mission lies the support for the Child Advocacy Center (CAC), which serves over 400 vulnerable children yearly who have suffered abuse or neglect. Their vision is clear: a future where no child in Frederick County experiences the pain of abuse. With unwavering commitment, they strive to ensure these children receive the care and healing they deserve.
